I took a direct lightning strike at my house back on the 17th when that bad
thunderstorm blew through. It hit one of the trees surrounding my "antenna

I always hear Hams going to take down an antennaor unscrew the coax when a
storm is coming.
I WOULD NEVER EVER touch a coax or antenna if I couldhear thunder or if a storm
was near..
