Unfortunately it looks like this switch decided to reboot again last night
at around 1AM PDT. Thankfully the impact was smaller than before with all
of the adjustments we made in the recent weeks.
I wanted to send another update on how we're going to permanently fix this
moving forward.
All,
Between 5-8:15PM PDT (-0315 UTC), our DNS servers experienced a DDoS
which affected DNS queries to our authoritative servers. Our caching
servers were also somewhat affected, but less so it seems. The attack
seemed to be sending millions of random queries to one of our hosted
project's do
