the last 2 builds ([1],[2]) of pdfbox crashed and I don't understand why. There
were some minor changes in the build.xml [4], which work fine during the last 2
builds. It crashed after calling the website target which uses forrest to
create the pdfbox homepage. Prior builds like [3] worked
I just restarted Hudson as it had stopped dealing with HTTP requests
-- perhaps this killed one of those builds.

There are two Hudson projects for Hadoop: "Hadoop" and "Common". The
latter can easily be confused with Apache Commons (though that does
not yet use Hudson).
Could the "Common" jobs be folded into "Hadoop"? If not, please could
"Common" be renamed as "Hadoop-Common" or similar?

The PDFBox build job wasn't tied to any particular build node, so I
guess these builds got executed on the Ubuntu slave nodes instead of
the master node where I had installed the Forrest
