testing the email system - plz ignore this
sry, i did not realize that this would spawn a bug report; but
one may be due - perhaps i should give some detail
the email archive website is not updating, perhaps since
november - zero messages are archived from december 2022, though
the email system is working as expected; and it show "Archives
bit of lag, but mine appeared - this ticket can be closed
there is another person trying to email, who must have a
different problem

FWIW, only the search feature is broken - all of the docs are complete

just to note, the nice thing about doxygen is that it that is part if the
code-base - it does not need to be maintained separately or in a database like
those "modern web" deals; and the project does not even need to host it publicly
- any user with the source code can generate their own
also FWIW:
