To help diagnose the problem, it would be useful to know the output from
the following two commands:
fdisk -l -u
where one of the options is a lower case "L" and not the number one.
parted /path-to-your-
I restored some "lost" partitions with testdisk (the partitions were created
with gparted) ,testdisk worked fine and the partitions are now usable.The
