Hi,
I could'nt compile / make parted 3.1, because of my linux box,
but a recent gparted was fine to do what i needed.
I will reinstall my linux box and try again with parted 3.1

Hi. Version 2.3 is from 2010, while the latest version, 3.1, is from
last year. Could you try with that and see if
you can reproduce the issue? You can download from

i'm using parted 2.3 with Lubuntu 12.04.
I'm currently working with large drives, 3TB and 4TB
I had this bug (commands and output):
artfx@serv01:~$ sudo parted
GNU Parted 2.3
Utilisation de /dev/sda
Bievenue sur GNU Parted ! Tapez 'help' pour voir la liste des commandes.
(parted) select /D
