Hi, I think you forgot to update both PED_INTERFACE_AGE and PED_BINARY_AGE in configure.in when you released 1.6.25. As a result the soname was bumped even if no API (and even no ABI) incompatible changes had been done. I think that for the next release we should continue as if this one was clean,
