Try to upgrade the geometry package in teTeX (just download a copy from
any CTAN mirror, I think it includes nice instructions for installation).

I tried last night to install Lily 2.1.6, and it compiled successfully.
However, when I tried to run it, it processed the music fine, but then failed
when trying to call Latex. I tried Lily 2.1.7,
