I have submitted a patch which does this, which is still in the
changelog, but the actual patch disappeared somehow. I can submit it
again if it would help. The line is question should be:
midi_specs=string.join(["\n\t\t\context {\n\t\t \Score
tempoWholesPerMinute = #(ly:make-mome

It's actually more lilypond's fault than it is MIDI players'. IIRC, the
argument was that most players look for tempo info in Track 0, and they
don't find it, so they use the standard 4/4 = 120. Deep within the
bowels of lilypond-user archive
I think the problem occurs with some midi players.

Hi!
I'm using your softwar LilyPond for 3 or 4 days now and find it really
powerfull! I was able to print wonderfull scores after a few hours,
which is pretty satisfying!
But after having looked for the answer over the net, in the tutorial
and manual, everywhere, I can't find the answer of a li
