I feel that there aren't enough chord names in
Lilypond to adequately cover most people's needs. A
jazz chord system at minimum needs to cover the
following chords:
major
minor
add4
add2
madd4
madd2
madd11
add11
sus2
sus4
5
5/11
5/9
6
m6
6sus2
6sus4
7
m7
7sus2
7sus4
maj7
mmaj7
sus2maj7
sus4maj7
ad
In chord notation there exists ^sus2/add3 and
^sus4/sus2/add3. These are not the most common names
for the chords. It should be ^add2 and ^add2/add4.
Please include that as an option. C:add2, etc.
