Hi,
The page http://www.lilypond-design.com/sponsor/about.html has links to
http://lilypond.org/doc/v2.6/Documentation/topdocs/out-www/NEWS.html
where it should been without the out-www. the attached patch should fix
it.

yeah, it is. I thought that -bug and -devel allowed attachments and
-user didn't.

[sorry, I sent this to lilypond-users by mistake]
Hi,
I think some users have asked about that. Lilypond 2.7.* is
creating an empty midi file. I'm sending a simple ly file and the
generated midi.

this is actually not my code :-)
the correct should be something like:
{
\time 6/8
cis8( b4) \acciaccatura { \times 2/3 {cis32([ b a]} }
b8.)
this code makes lilypond hang:
{
\time 6/8
cis( b4) \acciaccatura \times 2/3 { \stemUp cis32([ \acciaccatura b
\acciaccatura a] }
b8.)[ cis16-. d8-.] |
}
I tested with 2.5.20 but it seems to hang lily 2.4.* also. I don't know
this code should be valid, but at least it should be handled g

you mean, like this?
c4\f d\<
sometimes the tremolo beam is too close to the notehead. this is bad
because the beam can be confused with a note. in this example this
happen with the f#:
\relative c' {
\time 3/4
<<{bes8:32 d: fis: d: fis: bes:} \\ {fis,8:32^"flatz." bes: d: bes: d:
fis:}>>
<<{a,: cis: f: cis: f: a:}
Hi,
it seems that midi output has a bug that makes the notes after the
crescendo not to be heard. the notes are there, but the volume is zeroed
or something like that. it has something to do with the use of the midi
controller 7
here is an example:
\book {
\score {
\new Staff {
this code make lily eat *lots* of memory (I have to kill it). If I
remove the slur it runs fine.
tested with latest cvs.
{
<<{\repeat "tremolo" 16 {ges,32( c)}} \\ {\repeat "tremolo" 16 {e32 bes}}>>
}
