This just looks wrong to me. More space is needed on the left-hand side.

According to my Essential Dictionary of Music Notation, the correct
behavior is that fingerings should be below the slur (when placing
them above would be too far apart from the notes), and if there is a
collision the slur should be broken. If the fingerings need to be
placed within the staff space
Just wondering if this is an actual issue or whether I'm misreading
things. Is the horizontal placement of these chords alright? I was
under the impression that there should be space on the left.

For example, my Essential Dictionary of Music Notation tells me coda
symbols should be aligned flush right, and segnos flush left with the
barline. As far as I

Places the fermata above the stem, instead of the highest note? Is

2.8.0-5 fortunately fixed the problem of Lilypond running slowly on Windows
(having to recreate the font cache every time), but this problem has returned in
2.8.1-1.

Puts the fermata centered at the stem - I believe the proper default behavior is
to center at the highest note? Or am I incorrect?

The score looks messed up.
Also, I was wonder why we have to do that nasty hack with

\override Stem #'transparent = ##t

Running Lilypond always hangs before it starts compiling, every
