I have a problem with putting grave accent over the letter `u' in word più. I have tryied: a_\markup{\italic{più}} - letter ù from French keyboard and a_\markup{\italic{pi\\`u}} as TeX encoding but I got in first case error message: warning: can't find ascii character: 249 and in second: error

lilypond under windows 2000 - no exe files

I have installed Lilypond and it doesn't work. I have selected Liypond in Publishing Section( I can't find libkpathsea3abi1). WIndows see test.ly like nodepad file. And lilypond is without extension, the same lilypond-book, lilypond-bin.exe doesn't work - It can't find cygwin1.dll. Many problems
