Hi Jonas, The documentation of font-lock-reference-face reads:   This variable is an alias for ‘font-lock-constant-face’.   This variable is obsolete since 20.3;   use ‘font-lock-constant-face’ instead.   Probably introduced at or before Emacs version 19.29. So I guess you could try replacing
