I don't think these changes need a full review and I don't have time to
go through it anyway.
So find attached a patch to fix two minor issues. It applies to the
stable/2.20 branch.

"all the music in a single page output file" is correct, as it is the
cropped eps/pdf files that we're talking about, which is not separated by
page.
