Hello!
I have seen a problem with ligatures, the horizontal bracket joining
notes denoted with \[ and \].
The problem is that the start and end point of the bracket seems to be
affected by the rythmic figures of other simultaneus voices.
In this small example, the first bracket has an incorrec

Hello!
There is a problem with the ligature spacing.
I think it is a known problem, but I mention it just in case.
The spacing after a ligature seems to be proportional to the number of
notes it contains. This is wrong. If there is a switch to change this
behaviour it should be set in the defin

I tried to make a VaticanaStaff larger, changing the font and the
StaffSymbol. This works well for regular Staff, but in Vaticana Staff
the "stems" are not scaled. Look at the virga in the second example,
it has a very small stem compared with the notehead.

Hi,
I would like to install Lilypond 2.6.3. on my system using SuSE 9.1. Is
it a good idea to use the "package" download from your site? And if so,
what are the steps needed after downloading?
Thanks in advance,

Starting with Lilypond 2.7.9 it seems as if PNG images have alpha channel
transparency turned on as default. Unfortunately Internet Explorer can't handle
such images - the transparent parts are black; not very useful. Is there an
option to turn transparency off? If not, can we have such an option,
