About the frozen install: I can't reproduce. Please zip and send me the
setup.log.full and setup.log.postinstallX?? file from
c:\cygwin\var\log, then I will able to examine the issue.
About the missing images: you're right, they are installed as links not

i have downloaded lilypond already
and opened the Notepad like it says to and
typed
{ c'4 e' g' }
and saved it as the "test.ly"
however when i "click on test.ly" nothing happens
except a notepad of the text i typed in
am i clicking on the wrong test.ly or saving it in the wrong

convert-ly failed as follows:
1) It failed to convert my page size when using papersize = "letter
Upon updating lilypond from 2.2.5 to 2.4.2, install process froze on
lilypond.sh (sp?) in the cygwin installer. This was for Lilypond and
its documentation which are in seperate packages, both installed with
the same setup sweep.
