GNUMach 1.x serial problems

Hi, A while ago I was told there are some serious problems with the serial driver in GNUMach 1.x. This has something to do with the allowed serial speed and PPP. What is the problem with Mach and what causes this problem? I'm willing to look into this problem. Does this patch already fix the b
