This patch adds oskit/libc/string/stpcpy.c to the OSKIT source. This
adds this function to the minimal oskit c library liboskit_c.a, so that
the call to stpcpy from gnumach/oskit/ds_bus.c line 46 succeeds on linking.

Where can I find FAQs, docs or tutorials about how to compile GCC 3.x from
hurd´s instalation ???
I followed the tutorial´s steps even knowing that I was using differents
compiler versions ( 2.x & 3.x ) !!!
I tried to compile GCC 3.3 using "nohup make -k >& make.out &" and this
error message w
This one is easy, from your make log:
./genpreds > tmp-preds.h
/bin/sh: line 1: ./genpreds: Permission denied
Check the permissions on that file (you should be able to execute that
script). Next time read your log. :-)

Using the OSKIT patch I submitted earlier today (and modifying
oskit/dev/linux_ethernet.h for my network card), I successfully compiled
oskit-mach using 'make kernel-ide+floppy+ethernet_rtl8139'.
When I boot, I get the following output:
