This is.
And the problem is not really a compatibility layer between the Hurd
and Linux, but merely that the Hurd uses gcc/binutils/glibc as its main
compiler/linker/libc, and hence must be able to
e anything useful. I like the
idea and design of the hurd, but from my perspective, the learning curve
looks pretty steep here.
