IIRC "aux" is a special file name in windows (or something like
that). IIRC there was a discussion about this on this

AUX is a special file name in the Windows operating system. Use a
sane operating system instead :)

Works fine here (just checked out a new copy of gnumach). What was
the command you used? It almost sounds like you are passing something
down to CVS so that it barfs.
