Hi Almudena,
To give some more context, earlier versions of "ifconfig" was working fine.
Recently we upgraded to MAC 10.13.6 and latest inetutils which is causing
this.
Any work around would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I tried lot of googling but still not able to figure it out.
Here is the issue details :
Not able to set lo0 in the latest version of "ifconfig"
command$ sudo ifconfig lo0 alias 10.0.2.15 up
Getting error -> ifconfig: invalid arguments
ifconfig -V
ifconfig (GNU inetutils) 1.9.
