I'm more inclined to just use things unconditionally and say that you need to update your libc install before you build the Hurd. #ifdef's in the code as if it were really intended to apply to a variety of environments is just icky.

AHCI driver

Hello, AHCI is indeed not too complex, I've just pushed an AHCI driver to gnumach master. I'm currently successfully building a glibc with it. I have only tested with kvm for now. Actual bare hardware test is for later. Samuel
