Shouldn't they get applied on glibc-2_3-branch as well or do you
only care to have HEAD compiling / running on GNU/Hurd?
I try to take care of both so that they run and compile on GNU/Hurd.
But HEAD gets a bit more love from me. If something is missing from

What does "fix" mean here? Disabling
Disabling TLS for GNU/Hurd or making it work?
Making it work ofcourse.
And why is it possible that a user space program can crash the
kernel?
