I would like to be able to create a rescue disk for my system in which
the admin user's home directory contains a copy of an encrypted key,
for manually unlocking encrypted disk drives.
Following a short discussion in IRC, it appears the best route to
achieve this would be to link *guix system* an
# guix pull
hint: Consider installing the `glibc-locales' package and
defining `GUIX_LOCPATH', along these lines:
guix install glibc-locales
export GUIX_LOCPATH="$HOME/.guix-profile/lib/locale"

Hi, sorry for the delay but I've had a bit of time over Christmas
to look things over. I've given this a lot of consideration.
I am happy to drop compatibility with guile-2.2 and older; I
think we can make a minor version bump for this break with
legacy.
