On inspection of the default settings for Rot[t]log’s service, and
reading through /var/log/mcron.log, rottlog always exits with the
following error:

I tested using luks2 with grub 2.12 and got this:
error: no such cryptodisk found
error: no server is specified
error: no suitable video mode found
error: no video mode activated
