In case it is helpful, two quick follow-ups:
1. Typo: My foreign distro is "Armbian", not "Arabian".
2. I ran `guix pull` again, immediately after the error, and this time the
command completed without error.

On running `guix pull` on a fresh install of guix (the package manager) on
Arabian (running under QEMU, on an Aarch64), I got the following, instructing

I believe that rust-1.60 is exported when 1.65 is defined because
changing the exported version would require rebuilding too many
dependencies.
unmatched-paren mentioned adding a rust-latest package on IRC to avoid
this issue.

Hi!
I attempted to install guix system on an gpd micropc laptop, choosing an
encrypted filesystem without a separate home partition. The laptop keyboard
is a usb keyboard. Once installed, I was able to use the keyboard for the
first time the password was asked for. The second time, however, the
