So from a quick discussion on #guix, lfam deduced
Synergy@1.88 seems to be failing on Hydra.
Hydra shows that it started failing to build somewhere between commits
c3bece to 411937: https://hydra.gnu.org/build/2338209
An obvious candidate might be:
https://git.savannah.gnu.org/cgit/guix

I am currently finding these two errors upon trying to build the
chickadee library from this file:
https://git.dthompson.us/chickadee.git/blob/HEAD:/guix.scm
I ran the commands:
guix environment -l guix.scm
./bootstrap && ./configure;
and proceeded to try:
guix build -f guix.scm --
