Hi TeX Guixers,
Ran into a curious problem today of xelatex not properly rendering what I think
is a mapping/ligature issue: the usual TeX ``something'' quote syntax should
become proper double quotes (for English at least) but don't.
Here is a simple test tex file:
--8<---cut here
Hi,
The TLS cert of https://disarchive.guix.gnu.org/ expired today. Looking
at /var/log/mcron.log on Berlin, we see that the last certbot renew job
failed like so:
--8<---cut here---start->8---
2023-03-24 00:30:00 127768 certbot renew --webroot --webroot-path
Hello Ludovic,
since you wrote the ;XXX: symlinks annotation, you must have been aware
of the problem, but still decided to use lstat. Can you tell why?

Hello!
Running guix-daemon on an SELinux distro is difficult and sparsely
documented (info "(guix) SELinux Support"). On-line fora are full of
questions on this topic and sometimes random advice.
I thought we could improve on that by having ‘guix-install.sh’ take care
of most things dynamically
Hi Ethan,
I'm also using Guix on a foreign distribution (Debian)
