Hi,
`guix gc` does not break fish shell any more. I am not sure if this is
related to changes in fish shell v3.0.0.
If no one is interested in doing more investigation, maybe we should
close this bug.

Hi,
Patch #34153 has been merged into Guix. This issue has been solved in

In the last day or so, I've seen three instances of an offloading error
that I'd never seen before, which causes builds to abort on Hydra. So

happens maybe ones or twice a year. So I did what I always do, I revert the
non-user file system to an older btrfs snapshot. The thing is, that guix
pull does no longer work after the system rollback.
Since this kind of pr
(Sorry for the top post from before, I've sorted that out now.)
Just wanted to report that using root's path for 'guix-command' worked
immediately and my user
profile works fine now.
Thank you!

This means ./guix-install.sh doesn't work on e.g. NixOS. :-)
Please use /usr/bin/env bash.
The manual workaround is obvious, but this is a thousand-papercuts bug.
Hullo!
I wanted to install this ‘Guix’ thing that everyone's so hyped up

I have a small forgotten script in my ~/guix.git that runs:
./pre-inst-env guix system disk-image --fallback

It might make sense to add a build system flag to enable reproducible
build, for most people building openjdk should not pay the performance
penalty involved.
