On IRC georges-duperon reported that the output of “guix system vm -d
config.scm” is non-deterministic, which is indeed the case as of
fd3a64335da5a591dbe9276395d0ad6bb09f00bb.
We determined that the difference is in the
“builder-in-linux-vm-builder” items, specifically the root partition

Just to report that I did a successful install on one of those
machines. Starting with a 0.14 guix as root
guix pull
restarted daemon using the new one in /root/.config/current/bin/

I have noticed that description of the 'perl' package is:
"Perl 5 is a highly capable, feature-rich programming language with over
24 years of development."
Mentioning 24 years seems strange to me. Well, of course, "over 24
years" will always be correct (as well as "over 1 year"), but still :-)
