Respected sir,
Can anybody give mee the suggestion using the ld command in IBM powerpc (p5).
When i am giving the ld --verbose the output format in POWERPC, but the ld
command supports for elf64-ppc.
Can anybody help mee.

Hi Mike,
I have checked in a revised version of my previous patch (uploaded) which will
stop the linker from seg-faulting. It will still refuse to produce an
executable because of the non-representable section

as i said, the linker should not be crashing. even if the strip issue is fixed,
the linker is misbehaving here.
