What's wrong with just using git://git.savannah.gnu.org/bash.git ​ ? Why github.com? Granted, it's popular. Of course, you could simply make your own fork of the savannah repository on Github yourself. Why expect Chet to do it? You could do something like: git clone git://git.savannah.gnu.org/bash
