I will look into this. Are you using XCB or GTK
(see your ./configure output)?
XCB had some problems with strings and is no longer open for new
functionalities.
So I will most likely do it for GTK only. Something along the
lines
Works fine, even better than my own mods to the source file.

I understand my previous report was very unclear. Trying to describe a visual

It is more obvious if you set PS to 6 inside the Plot function.
