could use rubbign alcohol to clean the display, but that doesn't seem to
be helping. I can't afford (time or expense) to send the display out to be
repaired, so if there is something I can do myself I'd appreciate it.

cd runs win95 or

work).
Any suggestions

Daniel,
In lookig at the documentation, you would just need to pass some startup
options to the kernel on boot from the cd.

FYI: grml also supports speakup and the software speech synthesizer, so it can
be booted with speech as well.

Hello,
I am working on creating an accessible fedora livecd which will automatically
run brltty on boot.
My first challenge is that the cd boots into isolinux first where there is a
menu allowing for either running off of the cd, installing from the cd onto the
hard drive and/or running memtest
Hi everyone,
I am interested in developing a couple of accessible console-based
applications. I have looked at the idea of just using dialog along with a shell
script to implement the functionality I want, but the dialog package doesn't
seem to be all that accessible (unless there is something
Hello,
I have a need to boot into real-mode dos command-prompt window inside of
windows to be able to run some utilities for a class I am planning on taking

I do not have a hardware synthesizer any more so using something like jaws for
dos isn't an option for me.
However, I remember a w
Samuel, I was thinking of native dos. The application I need / want to work
with is the old norton diskedit program which has to be run from a native dos

Hi all,
I am being "forced" to upgrade to a 64-bit version of windows, and since my
usual screenreader (JAWS) does not support my alva satellite display on windows
64-bit, I was wondering if brltty-windows will support it?
If so are there any special setup issues?

Hi all,
I just installed grml 64-bit on my laptop and it came with brltty 4.1
pre-installed (nice).
My problem is that I don't remember how to turn off the status cells on the
right end of the display. I don't ever use the status cells, and with a
44-character display realestate is precious.
If you get it running on windows with nvda, could you post the steps involved
because I wish to do the same thing.

Hello,
I just installed fedora 21 into a virtual machine, and when I installed brltty

When the cursor is past column 40, the display does not shift right to foll
Hello,
I am working on a customized version of the kali 2.0 livecd.
My desire is to add an option to the isolinux.cfg file to enable brltty on boot
for a particular configuration.
Is it possible to launch brltty as a boot-append option?

I have been using brltty with various Linux distros running in vmware

With some of the older distros where brltty was at version 4.5x all was fine.
However, with some of the newer distros (ubuntu 14, debian 8, fedora 22), and
