Hello Dave, I think brltty 3.8 is stable enough to view it as production. If someone has a different opinion, he/she should make it clear within a few days. I didn't face any difficaulties with the software. I think we should announce this in Orca and Speakup list, and I think we should at least

I wonder whether we really want to tell people that brltty runs under Windows. What it really does is run in the DOS box (less well known as the Console Window) and under Linux emulators such as Cygwin and Msys. Saying it runs under Windows makes it sound like it's comparable to Jaws and Window
