in the email. The first column should be either blank, + or -. To apply this
patch, I would need to bring it into an editor and add spaces at the beginning
of many of the lines.
A second potential problem is that the

Then, I guess, I missed it. I think the reason is that you're sending it as
part of the message rather than as an attachment. I do remember the email in
which I thought you'd sent it, an

It'd sdeem, then, that the patch is probably platform-independent. Could you
please send it to me for addition to brltty's Patches/ subdirectory?

I'm not quite sure how to advise you since I don't know exactly what you did in
this process.
First of all, did brltty go through the make install with no errors?
Have you checked to see if there really is a /opt/local/bin/scre

It might be better, easier and more useful to put this in a Homebrew
formula. Homebrew seems the leading package manager on OS X today and I
know where things end up (e.g. /usr/local).
Furthermore I can inspect such a formula and verify it gets screen from
a place I trust (an official GNU site or m

Dear Raoul,
Jean-Philippe and I planned to work on the Esys problem at the end of
September. Is that too late for you?
Regarding screen: isn't it possible to have the patch integrated
directly upstream rather than just in the macports?
Cheers,
Shérab.

Do you have an actual patch file which patches cleanly against 4.0.3? If so, if
you send it to me I'll add it to brltty's Patches subdirectory.
