hi Dave and all, as follow-up : patch-to-screen-4.2.1 apply correctly on freebsd. - screen-4.2.1.tar.gz i mentionned as macports distfile in fact is the gnu source, patching is done just before configure as usual. i must mention that on osx 10.9.X macports install screen on /usr/bin and you do
