I haven't completed the freeware version yet, but I'm noticing that the
official authorization buff doesn't work when you wear the Adrianus
ring. You actually have to have Gwen with you to get the price discounts
you're supposed to get whether you have her or just wear the ring.

Random question, does the stuff they made available to their donors
exist in the freeware version? If not, that's disappointing since having
been a donor no longer matters for a freeware program. It also is
disappointing they never came out with a sequel or continuation. It's
been a fun game.
