Please do a small test: in the unencrypted folder please make a hard-link for a
file and check if it worked.
In my tests I used encfs default options. If you use different options please
let me know so I can do some tests on my side.

Strange ... it does work for me.
Please do this test from a terminal:
- go to snapshots folder (~/../backintime/$machine/$user/$profile)
- run "du -sh ." to get disk usage by all snapshots
- run "du -sh $snapshot" for each snapshot
If hard-links are used than the first value should be smaller tha
Trying beta 10 now.
Snapshots are now saved, good!
But it seems to do a complete backup every time.
Backing up about 50 GB.
When backing up it says:
Comparing...
Hard linking...
And then it starts backing up everything, including files not changed since
last backup.
That's not right?
