Yesterday evening at 7pm we saw a male Dickcissel at a private house on
Porcupine Lake in South Porcupine. The bird was with a group of White-crowned
Sparrows at a feeder and sometimes went to perch on a shrub to sing.

in South Porcupine (10 km east of Timmins) The bird was found by Andrew Warren
on December 8th and I was able to observe it today with fellow birder Pierre
Noel. Cochrane district doesn't have many records of Eastern
Rare for Cochrane District, a Carolina Wren is now being heard and seen in my
yard and in our neighbourhood on Helmer avenue in South Porcupine since this
morning.

We found a Northern Wheatear in Timmins at 2:10 pm today. The bird was in a
farm field, feeding in the grass and perching on fence posts for brief periods.

Directions: Moonbeam is on Highway 11. It is 850 km north of Toronto and, 21

There is 1 American White Pelican currently on Abitibi River in Iroquois Falls
(Cochrane District) in Northern Ontario. It was found by Dwayne Hill this
morning and we were just able to relocate it late afternoon. It is on the
