the morning off Bronte. I doubt the bird remained in Cootes Paradise, and
would probably have returned to Hamilton Harbour or back out to Lake
Ontario, so may be seen again in the area.

for more than five minutes, likely due to the presence of a Peregrine
Falcon which was perched on the roof of the building having a meal
(hopefully a pigeon). I don't know which direction they headed when they
left.

Escarpment to Ridge Rd. Turn right on Ridge Rd and then left at the next
road which is 10th Rd. E. Go south of the tracks and park at the pulloff on
the east side of the road. The creek is about 200 m farther south were it
crosses the road.

Tanager was at Iroquois Heights C.A. Oct 11, and a late Indigo Bunting was

There is a juv. Pacific Loon on Hamilton Harbour viewed from LaSalle Marina
in Burlington. It's associating with Common Loon. There are also 5
