This afternoon I followed up on Bob Scranton’s sighting of a Tufted
Titmouse at a feeder in the Long Sault region. While awaiting the titmouse,
a Carolina Wren appeared at the feeder; it stuck to the edges of a blue
spruce by the feeders. The titmouse appeared shortly thereaf
There has been a female 'Oregon' (*subspecies*) Junco at the Fletcher
Wildlife Garden in Ottawa. The bird is seen around the feeder on a fairly
regular basis. This is not news but there is another interesting individual
that observers should look out for.
