I’ve turned on query logging, then grepped for the count of lines logged in a
particular second.
Worked well enough for the job at the time.

And see if it works. It’s got something to do with the way the record is
matched (or not) before the forward statement is hit.

ISC funds the development of this software with paid s
in the sniffer – so the BIND servers are acting correctly – the F5s are
not. We’re working that through.
