Recently I encounter some problems with rndc.
Output of rndc command:
rndc: connection to remote host closed
This may indicate that

When were views added to BIND? We started using using multiple servers in

Is it possible to make bind answering slowly to requests ?
Here is the context : we installed new DNS servers but some clients with
static IP configuration are still using the old ones.

With today's hardware (virtualization, etc) it?s not very expensive to build
out new servers.
One caveat with using virtual servers. Make sure that the DNS server
on which the host machine relies is NOT the DNS server that is
