And the way to contact the developers is to log a bug report.
Email bind9-b...@isc.org or click on the Contact link on the ISC
site which takes you to https://www.isc.org/contact-me/ and select
"BIND Bug Report" at "What can we help you with?".
Both end up in the bug tracking system.
