thanks for your inputs.
I understand the challenge that "release x.y @shipping date d" might
pose. What we want, is to go beyond the "I am aware of an
implementation" type of response. It might currently be sufficient with
regards to the shepherd write-up question, but won't be
n then take the results of
the poll into consideration during WG LC to see if there’s a consensus
to send it to the IESG. There could be a draft that everyone agrees is
really important to get published, but for whatever reason hasn’t yet
been implemented.
