not sure what you mean by compiler functionality?
perl builder is bit heavyweight but works
editplus has nice syntax and autocompletion

PHP stuff all works ok, manually created cgi stuff works ok.
I have played around with add-handler / set handler etc but no
joy :-(...as about 75% of my audience is Unix/netscape based
this is kind of critical (isn't it always the way)

ok..this is my first bash at a serious cgi script. it is using DBI and CGI to
connect to a bunch of databases and edit various fields. Problem is all was
fine and dandy (more or less) while testing with IE5.5. Then I checked with
netscape 4.77 and Konqueror 2.1.1 both of these just display th
