Hi all,
I have a simple form that allows users to input their
name and a message and then email that to me.
The message is in a textarea field.
I'm concerned that I am not properly escaping certain
characters that I would like to let through (?\.').
Here's my snippet:

Hi all,
First, I know what when I untaint a value passed to my
script using CGI, I need to check for what I want, not
what I don't want.
But, since I'm even more of a newbie to the world of

to make sure it is up) on a Windows98 machine. The script works fine, but it
runs in a dos window. Is there a way in which I could invok

installing things.
Oh, I'm on a UNIX box and can fire off stuff to
sendmail at will.
Any thoughts?
