postfix is a drop in replacement for sendmail. as such the sendmail commandline can
still be used for delivering mails. Qmail has also been coded with security in mind.
However
(this is not thro personal experience), postfix seems to be quicker than qmail as far
as

Qmail and postfix.
postfix is written by security
I like postfix (postfix.org). It is pretty secure, easy to install and
maintain. It's only drawback (IMO) is that it can use a lot of inodes. Other
than that I am happier with it than I was when I used to have to configure
sendmail :)
