Lets say you originally created
CREATE TABLE example (
col1 varchar,
col2 varchar,
colthree numeric);
then realized colthree was in the wrong table.
you can:
CREATE TABLE temp
AS SELECT col1,col2 FROM example;
DROP TABLE EXAMPLE;
